Election Results: Pinellas To Choose Commissioners, School Board

It's Primary Day, and Pinellas County voters heading to the polls will have some tough choices to make.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL -- It's Primary Day, and Pinellas County voters heading to the polls will have some tough choices to make.

The Republican and Democratic winners of the primary will go on to the general election on Nov. 6.

Patch will provide updates as the precincts report in. Polls close at 7 p.m.

Don't let a lack of transportation prevent you from casting your vote. Voters in Pinellas County can ride to the polls for free.

The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority is free bus rides to the polls until 7 p.m. Just show a valid voter information card upon boarding. The PSTA also suggests riders identify their polling place ahead of time.

“We intend on providing free rides to voters on all future elections,” PSTA CEO Brad Miller said. “If we can help get more voters out to the polls and make their day a little easier, then we have served one of our many purposes.”
