Created from 5,000 sandbags, 80 tons of soil, and eight fire hoses, Extreme Adult Mud Wars features eight team events for charity. Teams of 6 to 10 people (with at least two women) will compete in dodge ball, joust, belly bumpers, tug-of-war, Eliminator, ball crawl, football, and an obstacle course.
All participants must be 18 and older. Registration proceeds benefit TASCO Teen Programs, which offer after-school and summer technology programs such as digital photography, videography, and graphic arts for teens in grades 6 to 12. In addition, sales from the food and beer garden benefit the Pier Aquarium.
