Caribbean-American HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Florida Rep. Darryl Rouson, Pinellas County Commissioner Ken Welch and St. Petersburg City Councilman Karl Nurse are among the dignitaries scheduled to attend this community event that focuses on the need for HIV/AIDS testing and education.

Enjoy Caribbean and West Indian wares, food, and entertainment, along with health screenings and information.

The event is a collaboration between Help-Us-Help-U, a Tampa Bay HIV-awareness not-for-profit organization, and Test Tampa Bay, a campaign to heighten HIV education efforts in Hillsborough and Pinellas County Health Departments. Community organizations that include Operation PAR and ASAP are co-sponsors.
