Sponsored by city of St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation, these mud wars pit teams of teens in grades 6 to 12 against each other for $500 and trophies. (TASCO is part of the parks and recreation department, providing after-school and summer technology programs such as digital photography, graphic arts, and videography for teens in grades 6 to 12.)
The competition includes eight arenas: an obstacle course, joust pit, belly-bumper pit, tug-of-war, football, the Eliminator, dodge ball, and one surprise event with music.
Please register as a team of 10 competing players and two alternates. Wear old clothes and shoes; bring a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, and your own lunch.
