The “Out of the Darkness” Community Walk is a two- to three-mile fund-raising walk about Vinoy basin and Vinoy park supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. There are more than 230 walks taking place throughout the U.S. this fall.
There is no charge to participate, but walkers are encouraged to raise financial support. Money raised will support research, education, advocacy, suicide-prevention initiatives and programs to support those impacted by suicide.
On-site registration begins at 8:45am. The walk begins at 9:30am.
