"The Carnivore Connection: Healthier Diets for Healthier Pets"

Conscientious pet owners are increasingly seeking information on raw food diets for both dogs and cats, but finding reliable and practical advice can be a challenge. Media research and talking points can be inconsistent, sponsored organizations often have mixed agendas, and at a first glance the task of formulating and making healthy raw food can seem daunting.

Diane Weigandt has been doing the legwork and the kitchen experiments since 2006. She is currently working on a Diploma of Veterinary Homeopathy (DVetHom) from the British Institute of Homeopathy, USA Division, and has recently launched a comprehensive website devoted to the subject, Raw Fed Dogs & Cats: The Carnivore Connection (http://rawfeddogsandcats.com). She has a passion to help improve the quality of life for as many dogs and cats as humanly possible.

In the Carnivore Connection seminar, Diane will offer an overview of why a species-appropriate diet matters and how diet can directly and specifically impact pet health. She will share her easy to replicate recipes for raw food and offer guidelines for evaluating commercial food options.
