Family Escapes Condo Fire In St. Pete, Warns Neighbors: Reports
A family that noticed an early Sunday morning fire at a south St. Pete condo complex warned their neighbors of the blaze, reports said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A family that escaped an early Sunday morning condo fire in St. Petersburg was able to warn their neighbors about the blaze, according to multiple reports.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to the fire at the Enclave at Sable Pointe, 2148 54th Ave. S., around 2:30 a.m., WFLA reported.
Vicky Cole, who was watching her grandchildren overnight, told Fox 13 that her son saw the fire, which broke out in the unit near hers, as he arrived at the complex while they were sleeping.

“He noticed the smoke as he was driving up and he came over and alerted the neighbors next door where the fire actually started," she said. "Everyone just got out and then we came downstairs and started knocking on all the other complexes."
Everyone in the building was able to get out safely and there were no injuries, SPFR wrote in a Facebook post.

Three families displaced by the fire are being assisted by the Red Cross, according to WTSP.
Firefighters responded to another structure fire in the same condo complex 10 hours earlier, IONTB reported.
The cause of the early Sunday fire remains under investigation, SPFR said.
