A Life of Letters: A Group Exhibition of Hand Lettering

The opening night of A Life of Letters: A Group Exhibition of Hand Lettering kicks off Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m., at Bayboro Brewing. The show celebrates the art of hand lettering expressed through a variety of styles. Featuring four Tampa Bay artists, each with their own unique approach to letters: Sydney Prusso, Tasko, Leo Gomez and Sun Signs.

St. Pete French Fry Fest

This French fry and craft beer festival takes place Friday, 5 to 10 p.m., at Albert Whitted Park and features local food trucks. Entry is free.

Family Fun Night: Lip Sync Battle & Karaoke

The Jim & Heather Gills YMCA hosts a Lip Sync Battle & Karaoke Friday, 6 to 7 p.m., for its monthly Family Fun Night. Free to attend.

Movie Night: “Come Sunday”

First Unity Spiritual Campus hosts a community screening of “Come Sunday,” based on the excommunication of Bishop Carlton Pearson on Friday, 7 p.m. A $10 donation includes popcorn and bottled water.

First Friday Art Market

The Nest at St. Pete Brewing Company hosts its First Friday Art Market at 9 p.m. The event features art vendors, live music and a chance to win a free tattoo.

Eggcellent Eggstravaganza

Walter Fuller Recreation Centers hosts an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event includes a drum circle, photos with the Easter bunny, a reptile show, crafts, a bounce house, prizes and more.

Spring Festival and Egg Hunt

City on a Hill Church hosts a spring festival and Easter egg hunt on Saturday, 10:30 a.m. The free family-friendly event includes photos ops with the Easter Bunny, inflatable rides, a petting zoo and other activities.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt

The Pinellas Pioneer Settlement at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve hosts an adult easter egg hunt Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Explore the preserve in the dark while hunting for Easter eggs. Prizes include passes to the preserve, gift baskets, and vouchers to local shops and restaurants.

Second Saturday Artwalk

Venues throughout the Central Arts District, EDGE Business District, Grand Central District, Warehouse Arts District, Uptown Arts District and downtown Waterfront District come together for Second Saturday Artwalk.

Easter Sunrise Service

Celebrate Easter with a sunrise service at Elva Rouse Park at Vinoy Park on Sunday, 7 a.m. The service, featuring crystal and brass singing bowls, chanting, song and dance, is hosted by First Unity Spiritual Campus.

Easter at Mahaffey

The Mahaffey Theater welcomes the community for a free event featuring live music, coffee and an Easter message on Sunday, 9 a.m.

Easter Foam Party

The Dog Bar hosts a pup-friendly Easter Foam Party on Sunday, 3 p.m. Raffles and Jell-O shots will raise money for Pet Pal Animal Shelter.
