Gibbs High Student Stabbed By Fellow Student At Bus Stop
A 16-year-old Gibbs High School student is at Bayfront Health after being stabbed by a fellow student at the bus stop.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- A 16-year-old Gibbs High School student is at Bayfront Health after being stabbed by a fellow student at the bus stop.
According to St. Petersburg Police, two teen girls involved in an ongoing disagreement began fighting at the bus stop near Paris Avenue and 6th Street South while awaiting the school bus to Gibbs High on Thursday morning, Sept. 20.
As the bus approached, the fight escalated and a 15-year-old girl stabbed the 16-year-old. The 15-year-old then boarded the bus where police found her and took her into custody.

The seriously injured victim is in stable condition at the hospital.
There were 25 to 30 students on the bus who were taken to Gibbs High School. Counselors are available at the school for student who may need help.
