Glow Run To Light Up North Straub Park Saturday Night

Healthy St. Pete​, an initiative of the city of St. Petersburg, is hosting the third annual Fit City 5K & 1 Mile Saturday, April 6.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- Healthy St. Pete, an initiative of the city of St. Petersburg, is hosting the third annual Fit City 5K & 1 Mile Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Drive N.E. in downtown St. Pete.

In addition to the race, there will also be an interactive wellness zone from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and a glow zone from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at North Straub Park that includes free activities for all ages before and after the race.

"We know our citizens want to be healthier and live healthier and more fulfilling lives. We all want to be a part of a community, a city and a nation where no one is precluded from making healthy choices,” said Deputy Mayor Kanika Tomalin. “That is, in part, why we created the Healthy St. Pete Initiative, as well as this race."

Registration for the 5K is $20 in advance and $25 on race day. Registration for the 1-Mile Run/Walk is $5. Click here.
