Halfacre Construction breaks ground on new utilities building
Halfacre Construction Company recently broke ground on a new building for the Manatee County Utilities Department in Bradenton, Fla.
This month, commercial construction company Halfacre Construction Company (HalfacreConstruction.com), broke ground on a new 7,200-square-foot building for the Manatee County Utilities Department in Bradenton, Fla.
Slated for completion in July 2017, the building will house Manatee County's growing staff at the utilities department and several conference rooms. The structure has been designed to meet the maximum energy code in Florida, with the roof and building ready for future solar panels.
“This is Manatee County's second project with Halfacre Construction in the construction manager capacity,” said Michael DiPinto, a project manager in the Construction Services Division of the Property Management Department for the Manatee County Government. “Working with them has been an all-around great experience. This project has been on the table for close to three years and has changed in shape and size according to the end user’s needs.”

Located at 4410 66th St. W., the pre-engineered metal building will be constructed with masonry, stucco, aluminum storefront windows, railings and an aluminum canopy.
