Halfacre Construction constructs Dental Care Alliance building

Halfacre Construction Company (HalfacreConstruction.com), the area’s oldest, most established, locally owned and operated private commercial construction company, is constructing the latest corporate building for Dental Care Alliance in Lakewood Ranch.

The 12,000-square-foot, two-story building will house offices for corporate employees of the dental support organization, which has more than 245 dental practices in 13 states.

The growing company already has three buildings in Lakewood Ranch. Construction on the new corporate building began in mid-October with completion scheduled for June 2017.

“Right now, the site is an empty field,” said Halfacre Construction Project Manager Tom Rees. “We’re doing some light clearing, utility work and path creation, and then we’ll start vertical construction.”

The building marks the first time Halfacre Construction and Dental Care Alliance have partnered on a construction project. Sarasota’s DSDG Architects designed the stucco office building with awnings.

Dental Care Alliance, founded in 1991, is one of the country’s largest and oldest dental support organizations. It encompasses all facets of general dentistry and all recognized dental specialties, offering dental professionals career and affiliation opportunities.
