TAMPA BAY, FL – It’s time for the perennial pursuit elusive Easter egg. Organizations throughout Tampa Bay are hosting their annual Easter egg hunts.
Here is a list of some of the hunts planned this month in Pinellas County:
* Dunedin Parks & Recreation will host a Bunny Brunch for kids age 1 to 4 on April 20 at 9 a.m. at the Dunedin Community Center, 1920 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin.

The cost is $8 per person by April 18 and $10 after if space is available.
The event will include brunch, arts and crafts, games, an egg hunt and, of course, the Easter Bunny. Guests can bring their own camera and take photos with the Easter Bunny.

* The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary, 4600 Alternate U.S. 19, Palm Harbor, will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20 beginning at 10 a.m. There will be food for sale and coloring activities. There will be egg hunts at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
All ages are welcome. Bring your own basket. The cost is $10 for children age 3 to 10, $15 for children above age 10 and free for children under 3.
* Mission City Church’s Helicopter Egg Drop 2019 will take place Saturday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mission City Church, 801 Seminole Blvd., Largo.
* The Point Church, 1430 Belleair Road, Clearwater, will hold its giant Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. All ages are welcome. Five areas will be roped off according to ages and there will be thousands of eggs filled with candy. The hunt is free. Concessions will be sold for $1 each including cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, Gatorade, water and hot dogs. Pre-register. Email paul@themainpoint.org or call (727) 442-2661.
* The Well, 550 E. Tarpon Ave., Tarpon Springs, will host its annual Easter egg hunt Sunday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. It will feature thousands of eggs, prizes and photo opportunities.
* Grace Lutheran Church, 4301 16th St, N. in St. Petersburg, will host an Easter egg hunt in the church courtyard on Easter Sunday at 10:15 a.m..
* Skycrest Child Development Center, 2045 Drew St., Clearwater, will have an Easter egg Hunt Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to noon in the parking lot. There will be a bounce house, obstacle course, dunk tanks, face-painting, Easter egg hunts and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Parking will be across the street behind the sanctuary.
* Christ Lutheran Church, 3451 30th Ave. N., St Petersburg, will have an Easter egg hunt on Palm Sunday, April 14, after the church service at about 11 am. at the church, 3451 30th Avenue N. in St. Pete.
* The 27th annual Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt in Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater will take place Sunday, April 21. The park will open at 11 a.m. and the Easter egg hunt will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Produced by the Clearwater Community Volunteers and sponsored by the Church of Scientology, the annual hunt also includes pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, train rides, a gyroscope and bouncy houses. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos and food will be available for purchase.
The hunt, featuring more than 30,000 Easter eggs, is free, and the small fees collected for the attractions are donated back to community charities.

* The Mall at Sundial, 153 2nd Ave. N., St. Petersburg, will host an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. It will include an egg hunt for kids age 10 and under, free photos with the Easter Bunny, music, cookie decorating, a balloon artist, Easter crafts and face painting.
