The Independent first opened its doors in April 2005, closing for four years in 2012. It later reopened in its current location in 2016, according to the barâs website.
The beer hall is open seven days a week and features 24 taps with local and world craft beer styles, as well as limited release bottles and cans, and a curated selection of wine.
The owners told Creative Loafing that theyâre selling the building, not the brand, to Ryan Griffin, who helped create The Mandarin Hide and Trophy Fish.
