J.E. Charlotte Construction awarded contract to construct Watercrest clubhouse

Venice-based J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. (www.JECharlotte.com), a commercial construction company that offers a full range of construction management services, was recently awarded a contract for the construction of the clubhouse at Watercrest, a new gated community in Venice.

Centrally located at the roundabout at Venice Avenue and Jacaranda Boulevard, Watercrest will feature 294 homes, including attached villa Cottage Homes and detached single-family Grand Villas by WCI Communities. The new 3,146- square-foot British West Indies-style clubhouse will be the centerpiece of the resort-style lifestyle of Watercrest.

The clubhouse will feature a 1,000-square-foot fitness center inclusive of various workout equipment, a beach-entry swimming pool, bocce ball court, outdoor fireplace, restrooms and an outside community area for residents.

The community is maintenance free and has no Community Development District (CDD). Slated for completion in April 2017, construction on the clubhouse began in October.
