John Craig Clothier Coming to Sundial

The Sundial lifestyle center has a new store in its lineup.

John Craig Clothier is anticipated to open in time for the holiday shopping season, The Edwards Group announced Monday. The men’s store will open in the retail space located at the corner of 2nd Avenue North and 2nd Street.

Winter Park-based John Craig specializes in high-end men’s clothing, accessories and footwear from such designers as Hickey Freeman and Zanella, The Edwards Group wrote in an email to media. The store also provides customization and complimentary tailoring.

John Craig opened its first location in 1996 and has earned a number of accolades since then. The store has been honored on the Esquire Retail 100 list, which “recognizes America’s finest menswear specialty stores across the United States,” the email stated.

Sundial owner and developer Bill Edwards is pleased with the new addition. “John Craig offers exceptional clothing and extraordinary customer service,” he was quoted in the media release as saying. “This will be a wonderful complement to Sundial’s collection of retailers.”

John Craig owner Craig DeLongy agrees.

“The St. Petersburg area is growing by leaps and bounds, and we are excited to be a part of this magnificent center and incredibly vibrant downtown,” he was quoted as saying.
