July 4th Fireworks 2023 Around St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around St. Petersburg for 2023.

We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around St. Petersburg so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in and around St. Petersburg:

July 4 Festivities

What: Downtown Waterfront Fireworks

Where: View fireworks along Bayshore Drive and North Shore Drive NE from Albert Whitted Park, North Straub Park, South Straub Park, North Shore Park, Elva Rouse Park and Flora Wylie park.

When: July 4, 8:30 to 10 p.m.

The St. Pete Pier will also host activities for all, including a craft beer garden, food trucks and vendors, live music, roaming entertainers, and more. Admission is free.

What: Largo Celebrates Independence Day

Where: Largo Central Park

When: July 4, music begins at 6 p.m.

Free to attend. There will be food and drink vendors on site, as well as live music and fireworks.

What: 4th of July Celebration

Where: Gulfport Downtown Waterfront

When: July 4, 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

This free event features a fishing derby, sculpture contest, live band, parade and fireworks show.
