'Kids','Kits' Notch St. Patrick's Day Wins At North Shore Park
'Kits' and 'Kats' will clash in Thursday's second game March 24, 11:30 AM.
St. Patrick’s Day was a day perfect for team captains named Mc Curdy and Michaels.
Larry McCurdy’s ‘Kits’ rolled over the ‘Kubs’ easily 21-12 to move two games up on the ‘Kats” in a dog-fight for the Three Quarter Century Clubs IntraClub pennant race.
McCurdy led the assault on the offensively and defensively crippled ‘Kubs’ with a double and two triples in a perfect 5/5 plate performance. Pewee Diliuis and Sibby Caliendo provided 3/3 showings for the ‘Kubs.’

The ‘Kits’ win with a loss by the ‘Kats’ earlier in the day pushed the lead to two games over the Kats in the championship standings with just four games remaining on the schedule.
Dave Glauner supplied the heroics for the ‘Kids,’ who scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to win 16-15. The victory was the sixth straight win

Games of March 22,24 will be vital in setting up the season’s final week. Kits and Kats will clash in Thursday’s second game (March 24, 11:30 AM. Earlier that day, the Kids and Kubs will be duking it out for third-place honors.
