Know Outstanding Senior Citizen Volunteer? Hall of Fame Seeks Nominees

Application deadline is April 30.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The Office on Aging is seeking nominations for inductions into the prestigious 34th Annual Senior Hall of Fame which honors volunteers over the age of 65.

Nominees must be a resident of Pinellas County and have dedicated exemplary service benefitting the residents or community of St. Petersburg.

If you or someone you know is a volunteer with any of the various non-profit organizations in our community, such as The Florida Orchestra, museums,schools, churches, neighborhood associations, military groups, police, or others, please consider submitting a nomination for this award.

The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Sunshine Center, 330 Fifth St. N., on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 5:30 pm. Honorable mentions will receive a certificate and flowers. Inductees will receive a certificate and prizes and will be honored at a City Council meeting with a Key to the City.
