Little Orphan Annie needs a home

Some might say, "If it wasn't for bad luck, Annie would have no luck at all." But then those people have never met this girl. Meet Annie!

Little Orphan Annie:

About 4 ½ years ago, a sweet American Bulldog was found in the strawberry fields of Plant City and brought to Pet Pal. After being treated for heartworms, she was put up for adoption and within a few months she was adopted by a kindhearted older gentleman. Normally, this would be where we would write “And they lived happily ever after.” Unfortunately, 2 years later, Annie’s owner passed away. Once again she found herself back at Pet Pal. It took a little over 3 months for Annie to get adopted again. Unfortunately, in January of 2015, her owner lost not only his job but also his home and Annie had to be returned to the shelter.
In March, she developed glaucoma and her left eye had to be removed. Some might say, “If it wasn’t for bad luck, Annie would have no luck at all.” But then those people have never met this girl.
Annie is such an amazingly resilient dog. She knows all her basic commands and loves human contact, though she would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats. If you could be the one to turn her bad luck to good and give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves, please come to Pet Pal Animal Shelter and meet Annie.
Because sometimes, the third time really is the charm…
Annie is a five year old, American Bulldog.

Due the generosity of her Guardian Angel of The Pit Project, Richard Bialor, Annie’s adoption fee is now $75.00!
