Major League Soccer Comes to St. Pete Tonight

Major League Soccer is coming to downtown St. Petersburg Tuesday night. MLS's Colorado Rapids take on St. Pete's own, the Tampa Bay Rowdies at 7:30 p.m. at . 

Tuesday night's game is a third round match of the 99th annual Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at Al Lang Stadium. The U.S. Open Cup is America’s oldest national soccer tournament featuring the best U.S. teams, according to a news release.

If the Rowdies defeat Colorado tonight, Tampa Bay would travel to play at the winner of Sporting KC and Orlando City on Tuesday, June 5 in the fourth round.
