Man Attacks St. Pete K-9 And Officers, Arrest Made: Police
A St. Petersburg man faces several felony charges for attacking St. Petersburg police officers and trying to cause a riot, said police.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL —A man showed up inside a St. Petersburg gas station on Tuesday morning, and tried to get customers to join him in causing disorder. Jordan Mosby, 29, threw objects at the store windows after customers didn't join in the chaos he wished to create.
A newspaper stand was thrown by Mosby at the Mobil gas station located at 1750 34th St. South, said a news release.
Police arrived and Mosby ran across the street where he fought several authorities as they attempted to arrest him. He punched a K-9 and he punched the K-9's handler. It took the force of several officers to put Mosby in handcuffs, said police.

Mosby faces the following charges:
- Misdemeanor - offense against police dogs
- Felony - inciting or encouraging a riot
- Felony - battery; on a law enforcement officer
- Felony - battery; on a law enforcement officer
- Felony - battery; on a law enforcement officer
