Man Charged With Murder Outside St. Pete Club In 2017: Police

The suspect got into an argument with the victim outside a St. Pete night club before the murder occurred, said St. Pete Police.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Police from the St. Petersburg Police Department arrested a 35-year-old man on Saturday, May 16 who they said is responsible for a murder that took place outside a south St. Pete night club on July 5, 2017. Detectives spent three years searching for the suspect, Jerry Peterson, and there was also a warrant for his arrest.

Jerry Peterson got into an argument with the victim, 42-year-old Lamant Lisbon outside of Club Paradise, located at 3074 18th Ave. S, before he shot and killed Lisbon, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release. Peterson is charged with 2nd degree murder and was taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
