Man On Electric Bike Dies After Being Hit By SUV: St. Pete Police
An electric bicycle and an SUV crashed Monday evening at the intersection of 22nd Avenue N. and 52nd Street N., St. Pete police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man riding an electric bicycle died after being hit by an SUV traveling west on 22nd Avenue N. Monday evening, authorities said.
The 39-year-old victim was traveling south on 52nd Street N. at the time of the crash, around 6:30 p.m., according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.
The electric bicycle and the SUV collided when they entered the intersection at the same time, police said.

The victim was brought to Bayfront Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His next of kin hasn’t been notified, SPPD said.
The driver wasn’t injured in the crash, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
