St. Pete Homicide Victim Identified
St. Petersburg Police say the man was found dead inside a car on 11th Avenue South.

St. Petersburg, FL – The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a homicide discovered Sunday morning.
According to the agency, a call came in around 9:30 a.m. about a man slumped over inside a car parked in the 2500 block of 11th Avenue South. When officers arrived, they found an adult male dead inside the car.
The victim has been identified as Sheridan Thompson, 40. Police say he died from a gunshot wound.

The location Thompson's body was found isn't believed to be tied to the crime, police said.
