Man Found Shot To Death In His Home: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Detectives are investigating a homicide after a 74-year-old man was found shot to death in his south St. Petersburg home Sunday, authorities said.

Relatives found the body of Julius Moore at his home on 19th Avenue South, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.

Late in the evening, after obtaining a warrant to enter the home, investigators were able to determine that Moore had been shot, police said.
