Update: Man Killed, Woman Injured in St. Pete Shooting
The call came in just before 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at the Inlet Bay at Gateway Apartments early Wednesday morning.
According to department spokesman Mike Puetz, a call about a shooting at 12000 4th St. N., Building No. 19, came in at 7:57 a.m. When officers responded, they found a man dead inside an apartment and a wounded female.
The woman has been taken to a local hospital. Her current condition is unknown, Puetz said.

Police have identified the man killed as Stanley Tipsword, 40, of Largo. Police have not yet identified the woman, nor have they updated information on her condition.
