Man Threw Sausage At Victim’s Face: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A St. Petersburg man faces a domestic battery charge after throwing a sausage at someone during an argument Saturday afternoon, court records show.

Ray Allen, 61, threw the sausage at the victim, hitting them on the right side of the face, just before 3 p.m., according to a St. Petersburg police arrest affidavit.

The affidavit didn’t indicate the victim’s relationship to Allen.

Allen was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the attack, the affidavit noted.

EMS responders at the scene washed the victim’s eye out with saline solution.
