TAMPA BAY, FL — Looking for something to do this weekend in the Tampa Bay area? There’s something for every interest – Memorial Day ceremonies and parades, vintage markets, a fine arts festival, 5K races and more.

Vintage Roost Market

The vendors are restocking with fantastic vintage finds for the upcoming Vintage Roost Market Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the second and fourth weekend of the month at 2326 E. 7th Ave., Tampa. With 16 vendors each offering their own distinctive vintage flair. The Vintage Roose encompasses 5,000 square feet in Ybor City.

St. Armands Fine Art Festival

This fine arts festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Sarasota. Artisans from throughout Florida and across America will transform St. Armands Circle into an extraordinary outdoor gallery of original art from artwork in such mediums such as sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography, glass, ceramics, mixed-media, metalwork, fiber art, woodworking and more.

ArtWave Community Art Project

Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting, it’s easy to participate in ArtWaveon Saturday, 11 a.m .to 1 p.m., at Countryside Mall in Clearwater. All you need to do is think about what community inclusivity means to you, bring your creativity and ArtWave will provide the rest. Create art with others from the community on the lower level near Restaurant Row. Local artist Frankie G. will be onsite to guide ideas into sketches.

Sunset Music Festival

This electronic music dance music festivaltakes place Saturday and Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Dirt Mall Vintage Pop-Up Market

This vintage pop-up market, Dirt Mall, takes place Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Studio NPR in downtown New Port Richey. The event features local vendors, bands, coffee, food trucks and pet adoptions! Shoppers can expect to find antiques, records, collectibles, music memorabilia, clothing, tapes, a retro portrait studio, oddities and more!

All-American Finisher’s Medal 5K

The All-American Finisher’s Medal 5K takes place Sunday at Caddy’s Pub Indian Shores. The race, which begins at 10 a.m., benefits Finish Lines for Scholarships.

International Cuban Sandwich Festival

The 12th annual Ford International Cuban Sandwich Festival returns to Centennial Park in Ybor City Sunday, noon to 6 p.m., where Cuban sandwich makers traveling from as far as Japan will be on hand to participate in the Big Cuban Sandwich Smackdown, vying to win the award for the best Cuban sandwich.

American Legion U.S.S. Tampa Memorial Day Event

The American Legion "U.S.S. Tampa" Post 5 invites the community to its Memorial Day event with a family-friendly environment to show support for the military's sacrifices. The two-day event begins with luminarias at 8 p.m., Sunday, May 28, and concludes Monday, May 29, with a memorial service from 11 a.m. to noon at the American Legion, "U.S.S. Tampa" Post 5, 3810 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa.

Trinity Memorial Day 5K And Fun Run

The third annual Trinity Memorial Day 5K and 1-mile Fun Run will take place Monday, May 29. The 5K will start at 8 a.m. and the fun run at 8:45 a.m. at Trinity College, 2430 Welbilt Blvd., Trinity. Awards will go to first-, second- and third-place winners in five age groups. Register here.

Sarasota Memorial Day Parade

Taking place Monday, 10 a.m. to noon, the Memorial Day Parademarches through downtown Sarasota. The parade starts at Main Street and Osprey Avenue and travels westward to lower Main Street, where it will end at Gulfstream Avenue. Around 11 a.m. a ceremony takes place at Chaplain J.D. Hamel Park. This year’s keynote speaker is retired Navy Capt. Richard Petrucci, who was a naval aviator with four squadrons for 25 years.

Bay Pines VA Memorial Day Ceremony

The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System will host a Memorial Day ceremony Monday, 11 a.m. to noon, at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg. The event draws more than 3,000 people and will take place rain or shine. This year’s keynote speaker is Thomas Bowman, former deputy secretary of Veterans Affairs.
