ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A popular bar and restaurant at a prominent Grand Central District intersection — the hard-to-miss Central Avenue and 25th Street intersection with the LGBTQ+ rainbow-flag street mural — has hit the market.

Mixers at Old Key West Bar & Grill at 2451 Central Ave. is for sale for $649,000, according to a listing for the 3,420-square-foot business. The listing is represented by KW Commercial.

“It’s bittersweet but time for new adventures,” the owners shared on Mixers’ Facebook page. “We have been around for a long time and love all of you! We appreciate all the love and support from our customers that most of you turned into friends and family!! With that being said please respect our staff and keep questions to a minimum. This has been our home for a long time.”

The bar/restaurant is owned by Crystal Ellis and Haley Martz.

It was previously called Old Key West Bar & Grill and was known for its kitschy, Old Florida décor. The bar was rebranded as Mixers last year.

Mixers comes turn-key ready for a new owner and has an oversized grease trap and a commercial kitchen hood exhaust system, according to the listing. It also boasts a triple sidewalk perfect for additional café seating.

The owners teased to future plans in the area.

“(We) are excited to live life fully for a few months and then get back at it,” they wrote on Facebook. “So, stay in the loop for what we have coming up in the future!”
