Near Sellout for Saturday's Rays Game
The Tampa Bay Rays face Boston in the second of a three-game weekend series. The third game is Sunday night.
ST. PETERSBURG – Tampa Bay Rays fans are expected to pack Tropicana Stadium Saturday for a 4:10 p.m. game against AL East rivals, the Boston Red Sox.
The game is a near sellout after the Rays beat the Red Sox, 9-6, in the first of a three-game home series Friday night. The Rays play the Bosox Sunday at 8:05 p.m.
The matchup against Boston will be followed by four more home games, with the Rays playing the New York Yankees next week. The games are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; each starts at 7:10 p.m.

If on-site parking lots are full, there is plenty of parking at private lots in walking distance of the stadium. For game day parking information, visit www.stpete.org/BaseballParking.
Fans can also park downtown if they want to stop at a restaurant before the game, then board a free baseball shuttle to the ball park.

There is parking at the South Core garage, accessible from First Ave. S., between First and Second Streets S., for $5. Â If the garage fills, parking is available in the BayWalk garage, located one block to the north and accessible from Second St. N., between First and Second Aves. N.
The downtown shuttle stop next to the South Core garage is located on Second St. between Central Ave. and First Ave. S. just under the pedestrian bridge.
