The Oak & Stone tavern opening in St. Petersburg this spring will hold weekly job fairs to hire more than 160 restaurant employees.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Starting tomorrow, the Oak & Stone tavern opening in St. Petersburg this spring will hold weekly job fairs to hire more than 160 restaurant employees.

The Sarasota-based restaurant is opening at 199 Central Avenue, next to the newly constructed Hyatt Place on 22nd Street North in downtown St. Petersburg.

A variety of positions are available including servers, hostesses and hosts, bartenders, cooks and dishwashers.

Job seekers can fill out an application online or apply at the new site each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The new St. Pete location will feature a 6,000-square-foot restaurant and a 3,000-square-foot outdoor deck with tables, couches and fire pits for casual dining. In addition to more than 60 craft beers on the Oak & Stone’s self-serve wall, the eatery offers handcrafted wood-fired pizzas, house-made burgers, sandwiches, soups, entrees and salads.
