Guess Who's Coming to Spaghetti Dinner? Rays Manager Joe Maddon

Fans get to eat with the Rays manager at Fan Fest Saturday to help local charities.

Nothing screams "America" better than baseball mixed with spaghetti and perogies.

At least in Joe Maddon's world.

So baseball fans in general, and Tampa Bay Rays fans in particular, can taste and sample Maddon's version of baseball when the Rays skipper hosts a "Thanksmas Dinner" of spaghetti and perogies at the Rays Fan Fest at Tropicana Field Saturday.

Fan Fest is free, including parking, with doors open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

There, fans can buy tickets, meet the Rays players and belly up to a table to dine with Maddon.

The dinner, however, is not free. It is $30 a person ($40 the day of Fan Fest); children's tickets are $10 (or $15 at the door), with all proceeds going toward the Rays Baseball Foundation and the Salvation Army.

Dinner is served at 1:30 p.m.

Included in the dinner are Italian sausage, mixed green salad, various deserts and bottled soda and/or water. The dinner will be held at the Batter's Eye Restaurant in center field at Tropicana Field, accessible from inside the Gate 1 rotunda.

Fans can also purchase tickets at the Rays website.
