ST. PETERSBURG, CA - A male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured this morning on the 2100 block of 18th Avenue South in St. Petersburg, police said.
The accident occurred shortly after 5 a.m., and the victim is suffering life-threatening injuries, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
Police said the man appeared to be crossing the street when struck.
