Pedestrian Struck Outside City Hall Identified
The St. Petersburg city employee was walking in a designated crosswalk, police say.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- As the St. Petersburg Police Department continues to investigate a pedestrian accident that occurred outside of City Hall Tuesday morning, it has released some details in the case.
According to the agency, Steve Wes Milliron, 63, a city water resources employee, was walking northbound in the crosswalk on the east side of 5th Street North around 11:50 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle, the agency wrote in an email to media, was driven by Khadijah Moenay Herring, 19, of St. Petersburg. Herring was traveling south on 5th Street North to turn east on 2nd Avenue North when the crash happened, the agency said.
Milliron is currently listed in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
