'Person of Interest' Named in Teen's Shooting Death
A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed on Thursday.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The St. Petersburg Police Department has released the name of a person of interest in the Thursday morning shooting death of Tyler Lord, 17.
According to the agency, detectives are looking for Drew Allen Reed, 27.
“Reed was identified as being on the scene of the homicide and in possession of a firearm at the time,” the agency wrote in an email to media.

Lord’s body was found in the alley of 1828 16th St. S. shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday.
Reed, police said, is a convicted felon. He stands about 5 feet, 8 inches in height and weighs about 175 pounds. Reed has a sleeve tattoo on his right arm, a cross tattoo on his upper left arm and a thin beard.

Police say Reed is known to be armed, so residents should not attempt to approach him. Instead, they should notify local law enforcement immediately.
Reed may be driving a 2010 Mazda 3S hatchback with Florida tag No. DDMV68.
