Pinellas Co. Man Arrested For Alleged Possession Of Child Porn

A three-month investigation was conducted by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Children Unit.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A 69-year-old Largo man was arrested and booked this morning for six counts of suspicion of child pornography possession following a three-month investigation by the Crimes Against Children Unit of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

John M. King was arrested at 7:20 a.m. at his home on the 6300 block of 126th Avenue in Largo, deputies said.

According to detectives, their investigation began in April 2016 after receiving information that King possessed the pornography. Detectives said they were able to recover six images depicting children from electronic devices belonging to King, and he was arrested and charged with the six counts and transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
