Police Continue To Seek Tips In Fatal Shooting Of 23-Year-Old

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- St. Petersburg Police are seeking any information on a fatal shooting that occurred May 15 at 8:15 p.m. at the Flagler Pointe Apartments.

Possibly as many as two dozen gun shots were fired at the St. Petersburg apartment complex at 2540 Roy Hanna Drive South, during a dispute.

At least four cars were hit by bullets and many bullet casings were found scattered across the shooting scene.

Zaki Tyre Starks, 23, was critically wounded and died the next day. Police said it appears he was chased through the parking lot and was attempting to take shelter when he was gunned down..
