Quarantine Edition Trivia Night To Benefit St. Pete Charity
A trivia host from St. Petersburg has created a fundraising event to help benefit children at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL —A St. Petersburg husband-and-wife team created an online trivia night that has gotten so popular with people from around the world playing has turned this into a fundraising platform for one night this month to benefit Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
Martin Brinkley and Virginia Warfield created virtual trivia called Quarantine Edition Trivia Night through their company, Batman Media, in March when the coronavirus pandemic started forcing people to stay at home.
The online game's reputation has reached people across the United States, Canada, Australia and England.

"We didn't think it would be that big, but it was a huge hit," Warfield said. "People just loved being able to do something while they're at home. And we also found out that a lot of people got other people from other states and countries to play."
She said that this has created a way for family members that are in different states to have fun family time together.

Brinkley has been involved for a few years with a charity called Extra Life that benefits children at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals through the gaming community. He has partnered with the organization by scheduling a charity fundraising event on Saturday, June 20, through his virtual Trivia Night.
The cost to play is $5, and the game starts at 7 p.m. To purchase tickets, visit the Facebook event page. All proceeds go to charity. There is a Facebook video about the event at the bottom of this article.
Brinkley is also a local trivia night host through Batman Media. As St. Pete continues to reopen, you will see more game night hosting of trivia nights in bars and restaurants. For the in-person trivia night games, check out Batman Media's Facebook page.
Warfield enjoys working behind the scenes as she likes to create questions for the trivia nights.
Quarantine Edition Trivia Night is hosted online via Zoom every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 p.m., and it is free to play. There is a prize provided by sponsors to the winning team. They provide Sunday online fun through a game called Jukebox Bingo that is a version of the popular game played by matching music and videos on your Bingo card.
Batman Media also provides these games for private, corporate and social functions.
