Rainbow Flag to Rise Thursday
The flag will go up outside of St. Petersburg's City Hall.

In preparation for St. Pete Pride weekend festivities, Mayor Rick Kriseman plans to raise a rainbow flag over City Hall Thursday at 10 a.m.
The flag will fly over the northeast lawn at 175 Fifth St. N. to commemorate the month-long St. Pete Pride festival that culminates with Saturday’s illuminated night parade in the Kenwood/Grand Central districts and a street festival on Sunday.
Kriseman and Assistant Police Chief Melanie Bevan are expected to lead Saturday’s 13th annual parade as honorary grand marshals.
