Rays' Home Games Against Orioles, Yanks Expected to Draw Huge Crowds

ST. PETERSBURG - The Rays anticipate seeing more fans in the stands for this weekend's games against Baltimore and when they take on the New York Yankees early next week.

The Rays will have games against Baltimore Today at 4:10 p.m. and Sunday at 1:40 p.m., after playing the Orioles on Friday night.

On Saturday, former Hootie and the Blowfish front man Darius Rucker treats fans to a post-game concert.
On Monday and Tuesday, May 16 and 17, the Yankees invade the Trop for games at 6:40 p.m.

More than enough parking is available at Tropicana Field for fans attending the upcoming series of games. If parking lots do fill, fans are encouraged to park in private, approved lots marked by signage featuring a blue "P" and lot number.Â
All approved lots are staffed by attendants wearing yellow Rays shirts and nametags. For additional game day parking information, visit www.stpete.org/BaseballParking.
Fans may also avoid congestion around Tropicana Field by parking downtown and patronizing one of St. Petersburg's many downtown dining options before hopping aboard the free baseball shuttle.Â
Fans may park at the South Core garage, accessible on 1st Avenue S, between 1st and 2nd Streets S, where parking costs $5. If the South Core garage fills, then fans may park in the BayWalk garage, located one block to the north and accessible from Second St. N., between First and Second Aves. N.
Free baseball shuttles begin running 90 minutes prior to each game, ending service one hour after the conclusion of the final inning.Â
