Rays Roll Out Weekday Ticket Deals

Baseball fans will find plenty of ways to save during the 2016 regular season.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Tampa Bay area baseball fans eager for the 2016 regular season to start will find the Rays have cooked up a few sweet deals to entice them out to the ballpark on weekdays.

The team announced a lineup of ticket offers meant especially for its upcoming weekday games. Here’s a rundown of the savings being offered:

  • Monday games – All active-duty, retired and honorably discharged veterans are eligible to receive two free tickets for Monday home games.
  • Tuesday games – Kids home game tickets are $2 each for children 14 and under. An adult ticket must also be purchased at the full price.
  • Wednesday games – All-beef hot dogs are being offered during Wednesday home games for $2.
  • Thursday games – Seniors age 60 and older will pay $15 to get into Thursday home games.
  • Friday games – Students, ages 18 and over, with valid high school or college IDs, can buy tickets for $15 for Friday home games.

Single-game ticket sales begin on Feb. 19 via the Ray’s website. Starting Feb. 20, they’ll be available at the Rays Pro Shop, 400 N. Tampa St. in Tampa, at the Tropicana Field box office or by calling 888-FAN-RAYS. Regular season play begins in April.
