Real estate company opens new headquarters at a prime anchor location in downtown St. Pete

RE/MAX Metro's new retail-style space aims in part to help showcase Tampa Bay

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (March 10, 2015) -- Last month RE/MAX Metro Tampa Bay cut the ribbon on a more spacious, modern, efficient, attractive, user-friendly, and much more visible headquarters in bustling downtown St. Petersburg. Filling the base of Morgan Stanley Tower (150 Second Avenue North), the prominent presence provides access/visibility from Second Avenue and Second Street.

Well over 200 attendees joined the February 25 celebration, including agents and clients from across the Bay to the beaches. Mayor Rick Kriseman spoke about the significance of the company and its relationship with the City, and he helped cut the ribbon with owner Rick Brown.

“We’re fortunate to be able to offer a better fitting workspace for our market-leading agents,” said Brown, “Our people can do more here – for ourselves, for our clients, for the community.” The office also allows for further career development opportunities and technology capabilities.

“The look-and-feel, the vibe, the layout, the setup, and the visibility – this presence – it just feels more like who we are and how we fit in the community,” said Marcus Martin, RE/MAX Metro’s director of technology, career development, and marketing. Still-to-come: Interactive touchscreen displays accessible from the sidewalk through the windows – via a partnership with ImageSurge.

Integrity Financial and Harbor Insurance co-hosted the event, with support from Delectables Fine Catering, St. Pete Coffee, Get the Picture Photo Booth Rentals, Steve Kovich Photography, and Savvy Card. John Holt III performed live music throughout. Event photos available here.
