Recognize This SUV? Driver May Have Seen Fatal Crash: St. Pete Police
St. Petersburg police are looking for a driver who might have witnessed a crash on 11th Avenue South that left two teens dead.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Petersburg police are asking for the public’s help in finding a driver that may have witnessed a fatal crash early Saturday morning.
Two teens were killed after an SUV veered off the road and hit a pole in the 4200 block of 11th Avenue South just before 1 a.m.
The SUV’s driver, Nikia Killens, 17, of St. Petersburg was brought to John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Her passengers — Shaariyah Brown, 14, and Brice Lewis, 18, both of St. Petersburg — were both pronounced dead following the crash.
Police shared a video showing an older model four-door SUV driving in the area of the crash around the time it happened. Investigators say the driver may have witnessed the accident. (Watch the video below.)

“Investigators are just wanting to speak with the driver to get more information about the crash,” the agency said.
