Red Light Cameras Coming Down: Will You Miss Them?
The city ends its controversial program Tuesday.

Red light runners won’t have to worry about getting citations in the mail courtesy of the City of St. Petersburg after Tuesday.
The city’s video-based traffic law enforcement program is officially coming to an end. The last day for the camera program to catch those who run lights is Sept. 30. City council members voted back in March to scrap the program, which is costing too much money to run, according to ABC News.
Should the move result in a rise in accidents, the city says it will reconsider at a later date.
