Residents of The Fountains at Boca Ciega Bay, an independent, assisted living and memory care community in St. Petersburg, took a three-day trip to St. Augustine last month.

During the trip, residents and associates boarded the Nights of Lights Trolley Tour and enjoyed the holiday lights with cookies and hot apple cider. They also visited the Lightner Museum, Our Lady of La Leche National Shrine at Mission Nombre de Dios and Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth.

At the Fountain of Youth, residents toasted with their very own Fountain of Youth Brew – a beer they brewed during a Homebrewing class as part of their Watermark University course offerings. The name of the beer was voted on by residents and pays homage to both the community and the Fountain of Youth.
