Cannabis Cocktail Bar Coming To Grand Central District
Rasta Canna Bar, an all-hemp cocktail bar, will open soon in the Grand Central District at 2531 Central Ave. The bar, a new project from CBD and THC supplier Nothing But Hemp, will serve hemp-based beverages — cocktails, spirits, seltzers and smoothies — according to I Love the Burg.

Lucky Tigre Popping Up In St. Pete This Week
A restaurant opening soon in Tampa has taken over the kitchen at In Between Days, a Tokyo-style listening bar and craft sake house in St. Petersburg, through Friday.

“If you haven’t tried their food, this is your chance. Their menu this week will be Hamachi Kinilaw, White Pepper Pork Dumplings, Bihon Noodle Salad, Braised Chicken Adobo Bao Buns, and Bola Bola Dumplings. Need we say more? Yes… pair these with the most extensive sake list in the state, along with natural wines and some soul soothing music,” In Between Days shared on Instagram.
Lucky Tigre posted on social media that it will also serve a vegan oyster mushroom tocino through Friday.
3 Daughters Hosts French Fry Festival
3 Daughters Brewing will host its annual French Fry Festival Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. Food trucks serving French fry items include Pamz Pizza Cones, Anju Korean Gastro, Flip’n Tasty Filipino and Maggie on the Move.
Dessert Bar Opening In The 600 Block
Downtown St. Pete’s 600 block is getting a new dessert spot – Chiki Churros Dessert Bar. It’s opening at 685 Central Ave., which was previously home to The Lure Ono, according to St. Pete Rising.
Chiki Churros is owned by Louka Strongylos, who recently moved to St. Petersburg from Montreal.
“My family and I were tired of Canadian winters, so we packed up and moved,” said Strongylos. “We did what we have always talked about and moved somewhere warm!”
The menu even includes a nod to his native country — a churro with poutine.
Cordova Inn Will Get Rooftop Bar, Restaurant
Downtown St. Petersburg’s historic Cordova Inn expansion will include a new rooftop bar and restaurant. Tommy Del Zoppo, CEO of New Hotel Collection, which is leading the project at Cordova, discussed the expansion and tourism in Tampa Bay with the Tampa Bay Times.
