Road-Rage Incident Leads To Attempted Murder Arrest: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A man faces charges related to a Monday road-rage incident, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.

Jose Oneill, 34, and a another driver — a 28-year-old man — got into an argument while they were in their own vehicles stopped at a light next to each other on 54th Avenue N. at 19th Street N.

They got out of their vehicles and got into a fight in the street. Oneill, who was armed with a knife, stabbed the victim numerous times, police said.

The victim sought aid at a nearby school. He is in serious but stable condition at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital.

Oneill left the scene, but later contacted police. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
