Safely Dispose of Old Technology with eSmart Recycling

Shorecrest Tech Recycling Drive to Fund Tech Incubator at Academy Prep

With the holidays behind us, many of last year’s tech toys lie unused as the latest, greatest models take center stage. But what to do with the technological remnants of yesteryear

Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg, FL has partnered with eSmart Recycling to be become a dedicated donation center. eSmart Recycling is a Tampa-based business that recycles all types of electronics, safely destroying hard drive data, and funding the creation of tech incubators in underserved communities.

While donations are ongoing throughout the calendar year, Shorecrest and eSmart are hosting a month-long drive for tech donations. The drive is sponsored by the Shorecrest Chapter of Interact, a student service club, and runs from January 4 through February 4. Donations can be dropped off at any Administrative Office as well as the Library at Shorecrest Preparatory School at 5101 1st St, NE in St. Petersburg.
