Anthony Hucker, President and CEO of Southeastern Grocers, said, “We are tremendously proud to be part of a community of associates, customers and partners that care passionately about our neighbors in need. It is because of their kindness and generosity that we are able to support our local children’s hospitals with a donation that will truly make a difference and offer hope to families going through trying times. Through this donation, we continue to build stronger, healthier communities, together.”

The donations received through SEG’s community donation program will be given directly to the following eight children’s hospitals to support each hospital’s pediatric specialties, family centered support, therapeutic activities, research, child advocacy and additional programs:

  • Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children – Orlando
  • Children’s of Alabama – Birmingham, Alabama
  • Children’s of Mississippi – Gulfport, Mississippi
  • Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida – Fort Myers
  • Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital – St. Petersburg
  • Nicklaus Children’s Hospital – Miami
  • Studer Family Children’s Hospital – Pensacola
  • Wolfson Children’s Hospital – Jacksonville

As a people first organization, this community donation program benefitting the eight children’s hospitals is an expansion of SEG’s commitment to serving its young neighbors in need. SEG is also a proud partner of Ochsner Hospital for Children and has donated more than $260,000 to the hospital since the beginning of their partnership in 2017.
